I'd say look into the Playstation 4, I've had a lot of good luck with mine!

I really like my PS4. They have a lot of great exclusive games, more than xbox in my opinion

I feel like console cycles have just become too short, and with Microsoft moving all their exclusives to PC as second available platform, it's not really worth buying an XBox anymore if you have a capable PC. I think Nintendo Switch is just the best choice overall, and more likely to stay with you longer, especially given that most the titles sport a timeless look, so you don't need newest hardware to "keep up".
